Particle counters
Today, high demands are placed on the cleanroom facilities. The components such as walls, ceilings, flooring and filters are not allowed to pick up or release particles. To achieve continuous quality and low failure rates, it must be ensured that none Particles penetrate through the supply air and extract air filters. Furthermore, the working person in the cleanroom has to wear suitable lint free garments.But how can we check whether the cleanroom meets the requirements?
Particle counters are used as control instruments. They measure the number and size of particles which carried in the air by using the scattered light method.
Depending on requirements, cleanliness class and process sequences, mobile or stationary particle measurement devices can be used:

This particle counters are a cost effective mobile solution for particle monitoring in cleanrooms, using a single counter for regular measurements of the
cleanliness at many locations and trouble shooting particle contamination problems in cleanrooms. It may also serve as a reference counter for stationary
particle monitoring systems, investigating alarm solutions or for integrity testing of cleanroom walls, clean benches and filter ceilings.

Met One 3400 Series Airborne Particle Counters offer faster sampling and simple portability for ease of use and reduced technician time. Lightweight and compact,
the instrument features strategically-placed handles for easy lifting: two on the sides and one on the front. Position the 3400 either vertically or horizontally.
Most importantly, dual hot-swappable batteries minimize downtime for seamless operation. For data entry and management, the 3400's color, high-contrast touch screen facilitates operation and viewing from a greater distance in different lightning and at different angles.
